For instance, Google developed an algorithm to predict candidates with a high probability of success which not only cut down the hiring time but also improve its success rate.

Being able to use analytics to make sense of the data will help differentiate you and the ability to think strategically about people metrics will help you provide senior leaders with data driven insights to support decision making and evaluate the impact of HR investments.

Ms Kok Yan Siang


Ms Kok Yan Siang is a Human Resource Consultant with EON Consulting & Training Pte Ltd. She has an extensive work experience of close to 20 years in the banking and education industries, as well as the public sector. For the last five years, Yan Siang has focused her career in the areas of human capital development, recruitment and selection, compensation and benefits, learning and development, and performance management. Specifically, she has managed the full spectrum of HR operations such as payroll, benefits, job sizing, recruitment, induction, learning & development and performance management; and set up HR policies for salary structure, benefits strategies and talent management. She has also implemented leadership development initiatives like coaching and leadership 360.

Yan Siang holds a Bachelor of Business in Banking and Finance (Second Class Upper Honours) from the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and is a Certified IT Project Manager. She also holds a Graduate Diploma in Systems Analysis and a Professional Diploma in .NET and Web Services from the Institute of Systems Science, National University of Singapore.

With excellent interpersonal skills, Yan Siang has a proven track record in being able to consistently build strong relationships with government agencies, private companies and business owners at all organisational levels.
